Our Team

Peter Jones

I originally started the business in Shenfield with Ashley Meacock in 1983 and subsequently we opened the office in Danbury in 2000.  I am involved with the running of the offices providing a 'hands on' approach and enjoying the challenges of modern day estate agency.  During the time that I have been involved in the estate agency business the market and estate agency has changed dramatically but I still enjoy the everyday challenge of running the business and assisting people with the sale and purchase of their properties.   Meacock & Jones also supports local charitable and school events which we are proud to be associated with.

Steven Malone

Beginning my Estate Agency career over 27 years ago in London I have learnt the business and art of selling properties from the basement up, having worked in many levels of both independent and corporate Estate Agents over the years. I joined Meacock & Jones in 2007 as I wanted to get back to the personal and essential customer contact that a quality independent Estate Agents offers.    I pride myself on providing honest advice and acting with integrity and professionalism at all times.  Working within a small team who share similar views and desires have provided a long lasting rapport with clients which sees them returning for repeat business.

Russell Pomfret

Russell Pomfret has been working in the property industry in the Shenfield area since his graduation in 2002 from Loughborough University with an economics degree. He has fantastic experience of the local market and an expert knowledge of the area. He is a qualified member of the NAEA and deals with a variety of properties from studio flats to large family houses.

Gary Morgan

I have been in the property industry since 1981. Having continually worked for independent estate agents, I have gained a wealth of experience in different aspects of the business, ranging from residential sales, auction sales and property management. After 21 years with a previous company I have recently joined Meacock and Jones. My experience has shown me that good customer service results in repeat business and recommendations. I pride myself on providing honest advice and act with integrity and professionalism at all times. I have been a member of the NAEA since 1995.

Jenny Warren

I began my estate agency career 18 years ago following the experience of buying my own home in Danbury.  As newcomers to the area we were seeking a 'one stop shop' where we could be persuaded of the merits of living in an area as well as buying a house.  The desire to provide this comprehensive, yet equally personal, service persuaded me to change my career path from a Chartered Town Planner to an estate agent – a decision I have never regretted!  After working for a large corporate agency I joined Meacock and Jones in 2010 and am proud to be part of a team where a commitment to quality of service, integrity, and a genuine desire to help delivered with boundless enthusiasm are integral to the way we work.

Julia East

Throughout my career to date I have worked in both the public and private sectors in a customer service and administrative capacity. I have worked in Estate Agency for a number of years undertaking both administrative and advisory work. I joined Meacock & Jones in 2014 and was attracted to the position because of the diversity of work on offer and the professional and approachable team I would join. Since then, I have been able to draw upon my previous experience working for a corporate estate agent across a number of offices in North London.

I live in Danbury and have two children who attend local secondary schools. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the local area and facilities available with applicants looking to move in to the area.

Glyn Hiller

I have lived in the area for a number of years and met a lot of people during that time.  I have great knowledge of the local market and activities within Danbury and Little Baddow.  I enjoy working for Meacock & Jones and assisting people moving into the area with local information which I have acquired over the period of time that I have lived in the area.

Doreen Ellis

I have lived in Danbury for 53 years and my children attended local schools.  I have worked for Meacock & Jones for 15 years.  When people move into the area I am able to give them good background to the facilities that take place within the village with various clubs, societies and local information about the area.

Kim Story

Previously employed as a secretary for a London insurance broker and a merchant bank, I have enjoyed working at the Shenfield branch of Meacock and Jones for the past 16 years. Living in the area all my life, I am able to offer comprehensive local knowledge in my varied role within the team and I aim to provide a good professional and friendly service to all our clients.

Julie Nichols

Prior to working for Meacock and Jones I spent 15 years working as a PA/Legal secretary in London for a major bank and a leading French luxury brand, managing complex financial transactions and supporting high profile leaders in all areas of their legal, organisational and administrative needs. I am married with two boys in senior school and have lived in Shenfield for ten years. "What I like most about working at Meacock and Jones is meeting and helping clients during one of the most important events in their lives and being able to do this as part of such a friendly and professional team".

Mike Rollo

I started my career with Barrett Essex in the late 1970s and quickly learned the skills of valuing new homes and land. In time I moved across into estate agency and successfully managed four independent and three corporate agencies before running my own business Rollo Estates in North Essex. I controlled my company as managing director for fifteen years. I sold my business to an independent estate agency group before being asked to join Meacock & Jones. I am very pleased to bring many years of knowledge and experience to Meacock & Jones. I was awarded my MNAEA in 1980 and my FNAEA in 1990. It is wonderful being a part of a really experienced and friendly company.
